Communication Strategies trainings were for improving communication skills of the relevant personnel who are directly in touch with the society. In this context media relations, campaign preparation, event management and visibility tools were the subjects of this program.
In Diyarbakır, the training held in Sümerpark with participation of 19 people. In workshops, participants prepared a campaign named “Swim to Life not to Death”. The reason for this campaign was to prevent deaths in Dicle. A short documentary, brochures, posters and awareness raising programs to be broadcasted in local and national media were considered for the campaign. This campaign is being planned to be realized.

Gaziantep session was held on April 13-15, 2009. The campaign from this training was “Hands Up”. The campaign will be based on street shows, brochures, posters, short movies and radio/TV programmes. This campaign will also be implemented.

Erzurum’s campaign was for “2011 Winter Olympics in Palandöken ”. Training was between 29 April and May 1st in assembly hall of metropolitan municipality. Şanlıurfa Training were in Metropolitan municipality’s assembly hall and the campaign was about the disabled people. “I have a disabled friend” campaign’s main purpose was to create relations between diabled ones and undisabled ones to make them understand each other.
